Giro Empire E70 knit. The knitting technique is already known for its use in sports shoes. However, it is new in cycling, because cycling shoes require a mixture of supple comfort and stable performance that other sports shoes cannot offer. The Empire E70 Knit is made from our patented Xnetic Knit outer material, which thanks to a frame made of thermoplastic polyurethane as well as a nylon core provides optimal kicking support and power transmission. The sock-like comfort and good ventilation are other features that will quickly become a fan of the Empire E70 KNIT. DWR treatment makes the upper water resistant and easy to clean, while the reinforced toe and heel areas ensure increased durability and abrasion resistance. In combination with the Easton carbon fibre sole, the Empire E70 Knit is an incredibly powerful combination and stands for progress in cycling shoe design.
