- No more adding 7/8 inch. The Addition automatically adds the exact HST seam allowance as you cut along its edge.
- No fractions and no trimming. Use whole-number finished sizes instead of awkward ruler lines, so your half square triangles come out accurate from the start.
- That difference matters. Using 7/8" makes sewn triangle squares oversized, so quilters often have to trim them to match the squares in their blocks. No more trimming.
- Works with standard acrylic quilting rulers without permanent lip edges. Use one Addition with a 12 inch ruler or two with a 24 inch ruler for full-width fabric cuts.
- Premium suction cups hold the Addition to your ruler while you cut, and release tabs make it easy to remove or reposition. Add a dab of water for a firmer hold.
- Built-in Finger Guard helps keep your fingers farther from the rotary cutter while cutting along the Addition edge.
- Standard rulers make you add 7/8" (0.875") to make HSTs, but the Half Square Triangle Addition lets you add the exact amount needed for HSTs: 0.854" - almost 1/32" less than 7/8".
